The general theme that runs through my photography is that of using the lighting in the scene and not augmenting it. In my day job I work in the entertainment lighting industry where the photos I am assigned to take are to accentuate the lighting used. It has taken years to perfect a system where lighting shows as the main feature, but does not drown out nor fade into the background of the image.
